Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations in a fully onsite environment. This role will focus primarily on general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities. The position will also assist with payroll processing approximately two days per week. Payroll experience is preferred but can be trained for a strong accounting professional.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and credit card reconciliations.
• Support month-end close activities and financial reporting deadlines.
• Analyze and research account variances.
• Maintain accuracy of general ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.
• Assist with payroll processing and related support activities approximately two days per week.
• Work independently in a fast-paced accounting environment.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Harrisburg, PA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Benefits package can be provided.

Workplace Type:

This is a fully onsite position in Harrisburg, PA.
