Assistant Manager Responsibilities GoldenChick is looking for an Assistant Manager to provide leadership and guidance to hourly staff. Assistant Managers are under the supervision of Restaurant Managers and serve as the second in command, supervising all team members on their assigned shift. Key duties include hiring, onboarding, and assessing staff performance, coaching new hires on operational procedures, and implementing company policies and operational guidelines. Customer Satisfaction Provide and coach restaurant staff to deliver excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner. Facility Condition Maintain awareness of the overall restaurant facility’s condition; notify management of any equipment failure or maintenance/supply needs; and direct staff to perform general housekeeping duties. Merchandising Monitor and ensure that all food product areas are stocked, rotated, and displayed to preserve freshness, appeal, and customer accessibility. Sales Controls Train employees to enter all transactions at the time of purchase at the correct price using the appropriate keys/codes, completing all shift sales in accordance with company policies. Financial Controls Manage accurate cash, sales, food cost, payroll, and inventory control records and accounts for variances. Staffing Controls Oversee the activities of restaurant employees as directed by the QSR Supervisor. Internal/External Controls Ensure all restaurant employees follow all government laws, health and safety codes, inspection standards, and the Company policies, procedures, and standards that apply to the conduct of business. Seek guidance from the QSR Supervisor or appropriate management areas regarding legal questions or obligations. Security Controls Assist in maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers and protecting Company assets such as information, cash, product, equipment, and property. #J-18808-Ljbffr
