Home Health Coding & OASIS Reviewer

Working remotely on a per diem basis, the Coding & OASIS Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and assess OASIS items, while maintaining ongoing communication with clients and staying updated on coding guidelines. Key responsibilities Timely and accurately review patient charts, including home health coding and OASIS assessments Educate clients on trends found in the review process related to coding and OASIS guidelines Participate in client meetings to ensure satisfaction and maintain professional knowledge through continuing education Required qualifications Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operational and/or quality roles Certification in Home Health Coding is required Certification in OASIS is required Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and compliance guidelines Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
