Regional Sales Manager, Interventional Spine - Northeast

Role Overview Ferring is building a team of individuals to launch a novel biologic product for radicular leg pain due to lumbar disc herniation. The Regional Sales Manager will build and lead a high‑performing launch‑ready sales team to commercialize the product upon FDA approval. Responsibilities Build, coach, and lead a high‑performing team of sales specialists. Drive execution of sales direction and optimize target engagement. Use sales analytics to analyze markets, customers and implement regional strategies. Monitor and manage promotional resources and regional budgets. Conduct field rides to coach team members. Develop and monitor a regional business plan to exceed sales quotas and targets. Establish strong relationships with key customers and opinion leaders. Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (Patient Access, Market Access, Medical). Requirements Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred. 2+ years experience in Pain or Interventional Spine. 5+ years of specialty pharmaceutical or medical device sales and key account management experience. Prior experience managing sales professionals and leading teams on large organized customers/IDNs. Experience with buy‑and‑bill outpatient facilities strongly preferred. Product launch experience preferred. Strategic planning, business development, and analytics skills. Excellent verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. Physical Requirements Driving or personal vehicle up to 60% of time; walking up to 15%; standing >1‑2 hours; lifting up to 20 pounds; long‑distance travel ~2‑3 times per year. Location Northeast – within 100miles of a national airport; near Manhattan, Philadelphia, Boston ideal. Compensation and Benefits Base salary $136,000–$177,000. Competitive incentive compensation based on sales commissions.
