They are looking for a dependable, engaging caregiver who enjoys building meaningful relationships with children while helping keep their household running smoothly. The primary focus of this role is providing attentive after-school care, transporting the children to activities, and creating a fun, active afternoon routine. During the early afternoon, while the children are at school, the nanny will assist with light household tasks to help the family stay organized. Requirements At least 21 years old Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience Current CPR / First Aid Non-smoker Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Safe, reliable vehicle for transporting the children Responsibilities Provide engaging after-school care for two school-age children Pick up children from the bus stop and transport them to activities Prepare after-school snacks and simple dinners for the children Plan fun, age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, reading, and outdoor play Children's laundry Tidy children's bedrooms, play areas, and common spaces Load and unload the dishwasher and help keep the kitchen tidy Complete light household tasks during school hours Let the family's friendly dog outside as needed About the Family This family is looking for a nanny who is dependable, caring, and excited to become a long-term part of their household. They value consistency, reliability, open communication, and someone who enjoys creating a positive, engaging environment for their children. One or both parents may be around at times, but the nanny will generally have autonomy throughout the day and should feel comfortable independently managing the children’s routines, activities, and schedule. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is warm, dependable, organized, and energetic. They enjoy staying active with school-age children, are confident managing busy afternoons, and communicate well with both children and parents. Position Details Location: Hopkinton, MA Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-7:00 PM. Both children arrive home from school after 3:00 PM, allowing the nanny time during the early afternoon to independently complete light household tasks. The family appreciates a nanny who is open to occasional additional evening hours with advance notice. Guaranteed Hours: 25 hours per week Start Date: ASAP Hourly Rate: $33-$36/hour, based on experience; taxes withheld Vehicle: The nanny will use their own vehicle for transporting the children.
