Ready for a new opportunity? Meyling Marin Farmers Insurance Agency in Riverside, California, is looking for a motivated, personable, and customer-focused **Bilingual Customer Service Representative** to join our team full-time.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting existing clients with their insurance needs, answering questions, providing accurate information, and helping ensure a positive customer experience. You'll communicate with clients by phone and through other channels, assist with policy-related questions, and help resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills are required for this position. You'll regularly communicate with clients in both languages, so the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently in Spanish and English is essential.

Prior insurance experience is preferred but not required. If you've worked in customer service, retail, banking, hospitality, telecommunications, or another customer-facing environment, your experience may transfer well to this position. We will provide training and support to help you learn our systems, processes, and the insurance industry.

This is an in-office position in Riverside, California , where you'll work as part of a professional team and have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and friendly customer service to existing insurance clients in both English and Spanish
• Respond to client questions regarding policies, coverage, billing, and general insurance needs
• Process customer policy change requests accurately and efficiently
• Take and process premium payments from customers
• Request, collect, and follow up on required trailing documents
• Complete Evidence of Insurance requests and other client documentation needs
• Assist clients with policy and account-related questions and provide accurate information
• Follow up with clients to ensure their requests are completed and their needs are addressed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and policy information
• Communicate professionally with clients, carriers, and internal team members as needed
• Document customer interactions and updates in agency systems
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail while handling multiple customer requests

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish and English — required
• Previous customer service experience strongly preferred; experience in retail, banking, hospitality, telecommunications, or other customer-facing environments is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Spanish
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and grammar
• Strong customer service skills with a professional and patient approach
• Ability to listen carefully, understand customer needs, and provide accurate information
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple customer requests and tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong follow-up skills and ability to ensure customer requests are completed in a timely manner
• Comfortable learning insurance terminology, policies, procedures, and agency systems
• Property and Casualty license is preferred but not required; candidates without a license may receive support to obtain one
• Must be reliable, professional, and committed to providing a positive customer experience
