Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery and inspecting their parts throughout the process. This role involves performing minor tool changes and offsets as needed. The machinist will use micrometers and calipers for part inspections. The position requires working with advanced machinery, including the Miyano BNA-42GTY CNC 10 Axis Twin Spindle Super Turning Center, Doosan Lynx 220 Turning Center with Bar Feeder, and Doosan Lynx 220LM-Live Tool Turning Center.

• Operate CNC machinery and ensure proper functioning.
• Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers.
• Perform minor tool changes and offsets.
• Read and interpret blueprints for machining tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.

• 1+ years of experience operating CNC machinery.
• Experience working with blueprints.
• 6+ months of experience using micrometers and calipers for inspections.

• Experience in CNC setup is a plus.

Work in a clean and organized machine shop environment that specializes in medical parts, emphasizing the cleanliness and modernization of the facility. The shop features updated machines and equipment, offering a supportive and well-equipped environment for machinists to excel.

The work environment is a clean manufacturing space, focusing on Medical and Aerospace parts. The standard work hours are 5:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, with voluntary overtime available on Fridays.

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
