Job Description Job Description Skillern Firm, Divorce and Child Custody Lawyers is looking for an Intake Specialist for two office locations. Our Intake Specialists are the first point of contact for prospective clients and play a critical role in shaping their initial experience with the Firm. This position is responsible for handling inbound inquiries, gathering essential case information, assessing potential client needs, and ensuring a smooth transition from initial contact to attorney consultation. The ideal candidate is empathetic, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion. Key Responsibilities- Primary contact for incoming calls, emails, and online inquires Conduct initial client screenings by gathering relevant case details and assessing type of legal matter Schedule consultations Maintain accurate and detailed records Follow up with prospective clients to ensure engagement and retention Provide general information about Firm services, processes, and next steps Ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure seamless client onboarding Track and report intake metrics Key Competencies Client-focused mindset Attention to detail Time management and prioritization Problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred 1-2 years experience in a law firm, customer service or an Intake role
