Human Resources Specialist

Position: Human Resources Specialist Location: Hamden, CT. Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally. We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to be based in Hamden, CT. This role will support Human Resources initiatives and provide employee support to our teams across the United States – primarily in Hamden, CT and Nashua, NH. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day HR support for the High Speed Cables business unit in areas such as data-entry, compliance matters, reporting, immigration, and document management Prepare written employee notices, hire sheets, and Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) related to new hires, supervisor and role changes, and terminations Support the preparation, tracking, and management of immigration cases under HR Manager and attorney supervision Generate HR reports and assist with other compliance related initiatives as needed (ISO and KPI reporting) Support onboarding, I-9 verification and employee 1st day initiatives Support employee engagement and HR initiatives within the facility Be the problem-solver and remain comfortable with new tasks as they arise, while keeping a focus on the customer Assist with additional Human Resources projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 1-2 years of Human Resources experience, with prior experience working on immigration cases preferred Ability to handle confidential information, manage competing priorities and show a strong attention to detail Strong problem-solving, communication and organization skills Intermediate proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn new computer applications Ability to maintain confidentiality in interactions with employees and managers #J-18808-Ljbffr
