Pathology Opportunity in Western Maryland

*General Pathologist* *Meritus Medical Center* * * *Hagerstown, Maryland (USA).* Meritus Medical Center Laboratory is seeking 2 full-time, AP/CP Board-certified pathologists to join our current hospital-based group of 3 full-time pathologists. Candidates must be board certified/board eligible and able to secure a Maryland medical license. We welcome applications from experienced pathologists and those currently in residency or fellowship training. Additional fellowship training is appreciated but not required. The group currently shares 16,000 general surgical pathology cases and 2000 non-gyn cytology cases. Surgical cases include routine GI, GU, breast, gyn, lung, and skin biopsies as well as larger associated general surgical resections. In addition, the on-call pathologist must be available for immediate assessments of frozen sections, occasional grossing issues, and general pathology questions.
