Lead Preschool Teacher

Saw Mill Preschool at Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a passionate, nurturing, and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our dynamic early childhood education team for the 2025-2026 school year. Our program focuses on developmentally appropriate practices, hands-on learning, and a warm, supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum
• Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitor and support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Maintain communication with families and collaborate with staff and administrators
• Ensure compliance with all New York State OCFS regulations and health/safety standards
• Supervise assistant teachers and contribute to team development

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Bachelor's preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a licensed early childhood setting
• Strong understanding of child development and classroom management
• Familiarity with OCFS (New York State Office of Children and Family Services) requirements is strongly preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Enthusiastic, organized, and collaborative professional attitude
