In this role, you will lead technical efforts across assessment, design, development, and sustainment of scalable data platforms while mentoring teammates and driving best practices.What You’ll Work On:Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms.Develop secure, efficient Python for data processing, automation, and warehousing.Migrate and integrate data from on-premises systems to cloud environments.Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.Develop SQL scripts and stored procedures for data processing and transformation.Apply data modeling best practices.Support data governance, metadata tagging, and access controls.Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.Provide technical guidance in a complex enterprise environment.Join us. The world can’t wait.You Have:2+ years of experience as a data engineer supporting large-scale enterprise systemsExperience writing clean, secure, and efficient Python for data engineering use casesExperience moving data from on-prem environments to the cloud and automating development workflows, including building, deploying, or managing applicationsExperience with CI/CD practicesExperience with SQL, including stored procedures and data modelingExperience with data governance and data taggingKnowledge of AWS services, such as S3, IAM, EventBridge, Step Functions, or LambdaAbility to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervisionTS/SCI clearanceHS diploma or GEDNice If You Have:Experience with Pipeline Builder, AIP, and Foundry's application development ecosystemExperience with ETL tools, such as dbt and AirflowExperience with NoSQL and graph databases, and DevOps tools and automation practicesExperience designing and building data warehousesExperience working in multiple SDLC models, including Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, or SpiralExperience with open table formats, such as Apache IcebergExperience with infrastructure-as-code, including Terraform or CloudFormationKnowledge of data lakes and lakehouse architectures and database performance concepts, such as partitioningKnowledge of Zero Trust and attribute-based access control (ABAC)Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
