About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Legal Marketing to act as a key liaison between the legal and marketing teams, with a focus on ensuring that all client marketing campaigns and processes comply with legal and internal policy requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing marketing collateral across various channels, providing feedback to mitigate legal risks, and collaborating with client marketing teams to align campaign objectives with legal standards. This role demands a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of business systems and processes, the ability to manage multiple complex projects, and exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. The VP, Legal Marketing will also be involved in training and influencing marketing teams on legal and regulatory requirements, as well as supporting compliance and regulatory activities. Applicants for the VP, Legal Marketing position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years' of financial service legal marketing experience, or a Juris Doctorate (JD) with a minimum of 3 years' of experience. A background in the consumer credit industry and a deep knowledge of financial services marketing regulations are essential. The role requires the ability to identify and assess legal issues, manage a challenging marketing review workload, and provide expert support to client marketing teams. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, proactive problem solver, and a team player who is goal-oriented and self-motivated. Experience in consumer credit/retail privacy, marketing, and credit card documentation is highly desirable.
