Field/Service Desk Technician (Hybrid)

Job Description

Triada Networks provides cybersecurity and managed IT to SEC-regulated investment managers across the Metro NYC tri-state area. We're hiring a hybrid Field / Service Desk Technician who splits time between on-site client support across the tri-state area and remote service desk while working from home. You'll be a visible face of Triada at client sites, so professionalism, discretion, and clear communication matter as much as technical skill.

What You'll Do:

\n
• Provide L1-1.5 support at client offices and remotely: troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and connectivity
\n
• Handle service desk tickets end to end: triage, resolve, document, and escalate to senior techs when needed
\n
• Work alongside senior technicians on larger on-site projects, cutovers, and installs, and handle routine visits independently
\n
• Set up, image, and deploy workstations and user accounts
\n
• Support Windows and macOS endpoints, Microsoft 365, and common business applications
\n
• Set up, troubleshoot, and secure iPhones, iPads, and Android devices, including MDM enrollment and company email/app access
\n
• Assist with on-site network tasks such as switches, access points, and cabling, under senior tech direction
\n
• Keep accurate ticket notes and asset documentation
\n

Skills You'll Need:

\n
• 1–2 years of hands-on IT support experience (L1 to L1.5)
\n
• Solid grasp of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs)
\n
• Comfortable supporting iOS and Android devices in a business environment
\n
• Comfortable working both on-site at client offices across the tri-state area and remotely from a home office
\n
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
\n
• Able to work independently on routine on-site visits and collaborate with senior techs on larger jobs
\n
• Discretion and awareness around sensitive, regulated client environments
\n

Nice to Have

\n
• Experience in an MSP environment
\n
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications
\n
• Experience with MDM tools such as Intune, Jamf, or Apple Business Manager
\n
• Apple certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional)
\n
• Exposure to compliance-driven or financial-services clients
\n
