Essential Job Functions Assists students with the organization and completion of daily work assignments Assists with evaluating and testing students Works with small groups of students in various subject areas Follows established procedures for monitoring student behavior when supervising small or large groups Monitors students' whereabouts and observes student safety Performs routine clerical duties such as copying, typing, answering/making telephone calls, and basic troubleshooting Performs additional non-instructional duties including, but not limited to, cafeteria duty, bus duty, hall duty, and office duty Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED A minimum of two (2) years working with children within an instructional, educational or related setting Benefits The financial benefits of working for Spotsylvania County Public Schools include a competitive salary, monthly PTO accrual, robust healthcare benefit plans, enrollment or transition into the Virginia Retirement System (VRS) with defined contributions and potential employer match, FMLA and Short-Term Disability leave, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), and employer paid Life Insurance.
