This position involves working within a busy healthcare facility as part of the surgical team. The role requires providing patient care during surgical procedures, assisting with preoperative and postoperative care, and supporting the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Job Details: Certifications required include BLS; active VA or Compact License required at the time of submission. Education requirements include a minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant specialty. Location requirements: Candidate must have VA or Compact licenses. Experience Requirements: 2 years of relevant OR experience with scrub and circulate skills. Schedule: Working four shifts per weektwo 8-hour day shifts (6:45am-3:15pm) and two 12-hour day shifts (6:45am-7:15pm)totaling 40 hours per week. Up to 3 call shifts per week, including weekend call rotation, with no more than 3 on-call shifts per week and 3 weekends within a 6-week schedule. Responsible for supporting vascular, neuro, and da Vinci robotic surgeries. Must have prior travel experience in a similar specialty; no local candidates are accepted. Travel required: Yes. Additional information: Orientation begins on 10/5 and 10/19, with orientations held every other Monday. All required RTO documentation must be submitted upon application. The healthcare provider is a teaching hospital, expecting all team members to actively contribute to a culture of support, especially when working with students and new hires. The client can cancel the assignment up to 36 hours prior due to census fluctuations.
