Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in the healthcare organization. This position involves working in a high-volume surgical setting with specific experience requirements, including scrub and circulate skills. The role requires active licensing and a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Job Details Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Must have 2 years of relevant experience, BLS certification, and active VA or Compact license at the time of submission; experience in vascular, neuro, and da Vinci robotics is preferred. Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shift, with up to 3 call shifts per week (including weekend call rotation). No more than 3 calls per week on weekdays, and no more than 3 weekends during 6 on-call weekends per 6-week schedule. Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating during surgical procedures and contributing to a culture of support in a teaching hospital environment. Additional Information: Orientation occurs every other Monday starting 10/5/2026. Prior travel experience is required for all Centra positions. The position involves working with students and new hires, and the organization may cancel assignments up to 36 hours before due to census fluctuations. All RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included in the submission packet.
