This position involves providing specialized critical care to neurological patients during 12-hour night shifts. Candidates must possess prior travel experience and be prepared to work in a dynamic, teaching hospital environment. Job Details Location: Not specified Position: Neuro ICU RN for 12-hour Night Shifts (7 PM 7 AM) Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week Start Date: 10/05/2026 End Date: 01/02/2027 Required Qualifications: Certification in BLS and ACLS, NIHSS experience, COVID/Flu vaccination or declination, minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience in neuro diagnoses, surgical and medical. Preferred Qualifications: Teaching hospital experience, successful prior travel experience, familiarity with critical care equipment such as vital signs machines, glucometers, SCDs, bladder scanners, vein finders, remote tele-capable devices, wound vacuums, IV pumps, pulse oximeters, chest tubes, tube feeding pumps (Kangaroo), and oxygen delivery devices. Additional Information: Charge responsibility may be required with appropriate pay differential and training. Assignments may extend up to 20 weeks, especially during the holiday season; travelers must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years). Must submit and receive approval for all requests for time off. No local travelers under 60 miles accepted. All team members are expected to support a culture of professionalism and mentorship, especially when interacting with students and new hires.
