Job Details Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing Job Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Hours: 36 hours per week Shift Pattern: Every other weekend; holidays on rotation Contract Length: 13 weeks Orientation: 24 hours Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,070 to $2,180 Location: Madison, WI 53792 — a lively, welcoming city with a strong academic and healthcare presence, scenic outdoor spaces, and plenty of dining and cultural options Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Current BLS certification from AHA Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) Epic charting experience required 3 years of recent experience in Heme/Onc/BMT or a similar high-acuity inpatient hospital setting Level I trauma or comparable large-hospital experience required At least 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years Telemetry exam required prior to start Ability to float as needed Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults and geriatric patients with oncology and hematology diagnoses Support stem cell transplant, bone marrow biopsy, and cellular therapy care Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and specialty infusions Access and manage central lines and ports Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and monitor telemetry Recognize and respond to dysrhythmias, abnormal lab values, and changes in patient status Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated inpatient care Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives Apply now to join this exciting Med/Surg Tele travel RN opportunity in Madison, Wisconsin.
