Job Details Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Schedule: Monday through Friday with weekend rotation and holidays as needed Contract Duration: 13 weeks Orientation: 24 hours Patient Ratio: 1:4 on days, nights, and weekends Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,070 - $2,180 Location: Madison, WI 53792 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last 3 years in the specialty Epic charting experience required BLS certification from AHA required Telemetry exam required prior to start Strong Med/Surg and telemetry clinical skills Ability to float as needed Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric neuro Med/Surg Telemetry patients Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Care for patients recovering from spine surgeries, craniotomies, brain tumors, stroke, MS, ALS, Guillain-Barre syndrome, and other neurological conditions Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and complete ongoing patient assessments Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response support Educate patients and families while promoting patient-centered care Document accurately in Epic and follow unit protocols and safety standards Support weekend coverage, holidays, and floating assignments as needed Apply now for this Wisconsin nursing job and join a supportive healthcare team in Madison, WI.
