Process Machine Operator: Floater (1st Shift)

Job Description Mars Wrigley- Process Machine Operator: Floater- Elizabethtown, PA Pay: Based on experience $25.40/hour+ This site manufactures DOVE Chocolate Current Shift Schedule (2026) Shift: 1st(Day) Schedule: Monday-Friday Hours: 6:30am- 3pm (flexible pending business needs) Future Shift Schedule (2027) Transition to a 12-hour night or day shift schedule (Further details will be provided) Description of Role Process Operator- Floater is the back up to the Production Coordinator and production lead as needed. Responsible for product and machine rebuilds, changeovers, quality checks, cleaning-in-place (CIP), continuous improvement recommendations. What are we looking for Minimum Requirements: High school diploma, GED or equivalent education 3+ years of manufacturing experience Basic analytical and mathematical skills Proficient using laptops, iPads, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Email, etc.) Physical Requirements Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs) Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping. Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces. Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English. Preferred Qualifications Technical Degree or Certification 4+ years of experience in manufacturing Weever software experience Food or beverage manufacturing experience Maintenance knowledge or capabilities Forklift experience Key Responsibilities Back up to the Production Coordinator and Production lead as needed Ensure operational efficiency, conformance to standards, product quality and drive continuous improvement Responsible for the efficient production of quality products Operate, monitor, and perform changeover and rebuilds on machinery Train and assist other associates as needed, supporting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team Maintain accurate records of quality checks and keep detailed logbooks Any ad hoc requests Total Rewards Starting Pay: Based on experience starting at $25.40/hour+ Annual Bonus and Merit Increases Benefits Starting Day One: Medical, Vision, and Dental Up to 6% 401(k) match Vacation time Tuition reimbursement Short/Long-Term Disability 18 weeks parental leave Relocation will not be provided Allergies This is a peanut FREE facility What can you expect from Mars Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.
