This position creates and maintains a working relationship with current referral sources & Community Relations team in requesting various documents that may require physician signatures & maintaining communication to follow up on all outstanding requests.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain monthly & quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)Contact doctor offices to verify and confirm receipt of paperworkContact doctor offices for status update of outstanding ordersVerify client primary care physician and well check information as neededUpdate and maintain physician's current and accurate information in KanTime system on an ongoing basisProcess all paperwork received on a daily basis in KanTimeMaintain open communication with therapist & caregiver and other departments of client status and any delaysAttend team routine meetings as needed.Gather all outstanding paperwork for Community Relations team (CR) to deliver and retrieve signatures on orders.Comply with all safety policies, practices & procedures & report unsafe activity to your supervisorParticipate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental & company goalsPerform other duties as assignedProvide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skillsQualificationsEducation and Work Experience RequirementsMicrosoft OfficeCustomer Service 1 – 2 yearsAdministrative Experience 1-2 yearsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); combination of education and 1 year of experienceOther Qualifications and SkillsAbility to read & write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups – may be required in more than one languageAbility to add, subtract, multiply & divide with simple two-digit numbersAbility to carry out detailed but involved written instructions, able to problem solve with a few variablesIntermediate computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite & database activityHandle multiple tasks simultaneouslyPhysical Demands/Working EnvironmentReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.Ability to sit at a computer for an extended period.Light physical activity performing non-strenuous activities of an administrative nature.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements.Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
