Executive Director

Mackenzie Stuart are currently partnered with a well-established senior living community in the Grand Rapids area seeking an experienced Executive Director. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of building strong teams, driving occupancy, and maintaining high standards of care, compliance, and service. Position Summary Lead all aspects of community operations with a focus on performance and culture Drive occupancy growth, resident satisfaction, and family engagement Oversee budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and expense control Ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence Serve as a visible leader within the community and local market Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations across all departments Partner with sales and marketing to support census and revenue growth Coach and develop department leaders and frontline teams Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, team members, and referral partners Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare operations At least 3 years in an Executive Director, Administrator, or comparable leadership role Proven success managing budgets, occupancy, staffing, and compliance Active state licensure or administrator certification required where applicable Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, survey readiness, and resident-centered service #J-18808-Ljbffr Mackenzie Stuart
