We are looking for a dependable Receptionist to support daily front desk operations in Norfolk, Virginia. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, managing incoming communications, and assisting visitors and callers with courtesy. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact, helping ensure smooth office interactions and a positive experience for customers and guests.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors and provide a detail-oriented first impression at the front desk.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls accurately and efficiently to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to inbound calls with courtesy, gather relevant information, and address routine inquiries.
• Assist customers, guests, and internal staff with general questions and front office support needs.
• Maintain an organized reception area to promote a clean and inviting environment.
• Handle basic administrative tasks such as taking messages, relaying information, and supporting day-to-day office coordination.• Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk support role.
• Ability to operate a multi-line phone or switchboard system with accuracy.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a courteous phone manner.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
• Comfortable handling a steady volume of inbound calls while remaining organized.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to interact effectively with visitors, customers, and team members.
