Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry / Neurology

Location

Spokane, WA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry/Neurology unit within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center setting
• Care for post-surgical neurology patients and patients with varied neurological diagnoses at a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Administer and accurately document NIH Stroke Scale assessments
• Float between units as needed within the contracted facility
• Work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• Neurology nursing experience required
• Proficiency with NIH Stroke Scale
• Proficiency with Epic EMR for charting
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or acute care hospital environment
• Comfort with floating between units and adapting to varied patient populations
• Experience caring for post-surgical neurology patients with complex diagnoses
