Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Part Time Hybrid Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child Psychiatrist to join our expanding behavioral health team. The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children and adolescents. The role includes both in-person sessions at our Bronx locations and telepsychiatry visits, offering flexibility and support through a hybrid model.ResponsibilitiesConduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients under 18Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up careCollaborate with psychologists, therapists, primary care providers, and school-based staffMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR systemParticipate in care coordination and case conferences as part of an integrated care modelSupport program development for pediatric and adolescent mental health servicesQualificationsMD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Child & Adolescent PsychiatryActive and unrestricted New York State medical licenseDEA license and Suboxone waiver (or willingness to obtain)3 years of experience working with diverse pediatric populationsStrong communication skills and a collaborative approach to careComfortable using telehealth platforms and hybrid models of servicePreferred Qualifications:Bilingual (English/Spanish)Experience in community health, FQHCs, or underserved urban populationsPay may reflect bonuses and incentivesEqual Opportunity EmployerEssen Healthcare is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.
