PROGRAM ANALYST

Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS OFFICE of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII. Responsibilities You will advise managers on the best practices for performance management, metrics development, or business process improvement. You will consolidate business or financial information to prepare a portfolio view of program data for manager review. You will analyze metrics and program data to recommend process improvements. You will document ways to improve an operating program's effectiveness. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing assistance to the Executive Director; 2) Making recommendations to the Commander on emergent issues; 3) Compiling information and preparing reports on administrative issues (e.g., statistical data, educational analysis); 4) Analyzing an organization or management function to identify processes or procedures to improve organizational structure; 5) Analyzing metrics and program data to recommend process improvements; 6) Documenting ways to improve an operating program's effectiveness.
