VIP Staffing is Immediately hiring a Full Charge Bookkeeper for a Leading organization in Albuquerque NM

Schedule: The scheduled is 8am-5pm 4 days per week, Fridays are a half day for the first half of the year and Friday's off after Memorial Day

This is a Direct Hire position with a Salary Range of $65,000 - $75,000 DOE

This position has Excellent Benefits that include:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Accountant to manage the day-to day financial operations of a great company. This role is hands-on and essential to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting business decisions, and ensuring smooth financial processes. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in an environment where responsiblities span both routine accounting tasks and broader operational support.

As a Full Charge Bookkeeper you will:

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate, timely posting of all transactions
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and all other balance sheet accounts
• Administer payroll and coordinate with third party processor
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and ensure financial records are complete and accurate
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly and annual financial statements
• Lead and maintain month-end and year-end close processes
• Support inventory physical counts, while providing review and recommendations as needed. 
• Prepare financial data, internal reports and analysis for management as needed
• Review and establish internal controls while considering a small-company environment
• Support preparation of tax filings by coordinating with external tax advisor
• Maintain organized financial and supporting documentation. 
• Ensure accounting software setup provides accurate data; recommend new solutions or improvements as needed
• Implement new tools or process enhancements to improve efficiency
• Document accounting procedures and workflows
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities. 

Full Charge Bookkeeper candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting software (Oracle NetSuit-preferred )and Excel
• High Attention to detail and strong organizational Skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities
• Experience in payroll processing is preferred
