Our client, a leading medical device engineering consultancy based in Garden City, Idaho, is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team. As an Operations Manager, you will be part of the Production / Operations department supporting cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Garden City, ID

Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm

What's the Job?

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production efficiency and quality standards are met
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize throughput and reduce waste
• Manage process validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ for equipment and processes
• Coordinate with supply chain and procurement to ensure material availability and manage inventory levels
• Lead and develop production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or Industrial) or Operations Management
• 7–10 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, with at least 3+ years in leadership roles
• Deep knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 standards
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and CAPA processes
• Medical device manufacturing experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across functions
