Work Environment

The position is based in our outpatient office located in Front Royal, VA. Here, you will be part of a supportive team environment that fosters professional development and collaboration. You will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 40 hours per week, providing a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients and establish individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and clinical assessments.
• Implement rehabilitation programs that may include a variety of techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care directly to patients, adapting treatment modalities in accordance with their progress and feedback.
• Document all treatments and patient interactions in a timely and accurate manner to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Actively contribute to team discussions on patient cases and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and self-management strategies to promote rehabilitation success.
• Achieve minimum productivity goals while maintaining a high-quality standard of care and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be on orthopedic conditions, but you will also have the opportunity to treat a diverse patient population that may include pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Our clinic serves a variety of demographics, ensuring that you get to work with patients from different backgrounds and with different healing needs. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in orthopedics.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective communication skills with a strong ability to connect with patients and their families, fostering trust and transparency.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and basic computer skills for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic rehab and knowledge of current evidence-based physical therapy practices.
• Demonstrated ability to develop therapeutic relationships and maintain a positive rapport with patients, leading to improved treatment adherence.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with your education and experience.
