Tax Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to take on leadership responsibilities while working closely with partners and clients in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilitie
- Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates
- Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services to clients across various industries
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements and maintain strong client relationships
- Review work prepared by Tax Seniors and Staff Accountants, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Research complex tax issues and provide practical recommendations and solutions
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget expectations
- Mentor, train, and develop junior team members
- Assist with IRS, state, and local tax notices and examinations
- Collaborate with firm leadership on process improvements and client service initiatives
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA license required
- 6+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Previous experience reviewing returns and managing staff
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Experience with tax planning and client advisory services
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experienc
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses
- Exposure to real estate, professional services, entertainment, or family office clients
- Familiarity with CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, or similar tax software
