Global Go is a General Contractor seeking a Senior Construction Estimator specializing in federal projects. You will play a key role in subcontractor sourcing, cost and price buildups, buyouts and project kickoffs on significant federal construction jobs with clients such as USACE, NAVFAC, GSA and other government agencies. This position reports directly to the company president and offers clear career progression opportunities, including leadership and mentoring roles.

Candidates should submit resumes with detailed project histories demonstrating a strong track record on federal or large commercial/industrial projects. Federal construction experience is strongly preferred.

 

Responsibilities

• Estimate labor, material, and time requirements for federal construction projects.
• Develop project budgets, utilizing subcontractor quotes as well as estimating direct contract labor and materials.
• Analyze drawings and specifications to prepare accurate estimates.
• Interface with clients, subcontractors and colleagues.
• Negotiate with contractors to secure fair and reasonable costs.
• Utilize Building Connected, Procore, Bluebeam and/or similar programs, apps and software in the estimating process.

 

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in construction estimating
• Bachelor’s Degree in any field.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with construction estimating, particularly federal projects.
• Proficiency in RS Means or similar estimating software.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or similar field.
• Field experience.
