Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department with 101 beds, maintaining patient ratios of typically 4:1 for medical patients
• Work across all sections of the ED as needed, including cardiac monitoring, internal processing, and triage areas
• Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation and Baxter pumps and GE monitors for patient care
• Deliver patient-centered care in alignment with AIDET standards, ensuring respectful communication and regular patient updates throughout each visit
• Collaborate with ED techs and unit clerks to support efficient department operations across day and night shifts
• Manage ED behavioral hold patients with appropriate care and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting
• Experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ annual visits)
• Active RN licensure and the following certifications required prior to start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department; no floating outside of the ED

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience within an HCA-affiliated facility
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
• Experience serving diverse, multi-cultural patient populations
