Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <40 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Hackensack Meridian Health.

Additional Details:

Failed fit tests due to facial hair and the inability to shave automatically disqualifies clinician from proceeding.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2-3 years experience including long term ventilator patients.

Required Credentials: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.

Unit Details: Provides respiratory care therapy for hospitalized patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies. Performs intubation assistance and ventilator set-up and management. Provides patient/caregiver education and gathers information needed to evaluate patient needs, including testing and consultations with other healthcare professionals.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required. Must be willing to work night if needed. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 40 per week. It can be two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts, or three 12-hour shifts. No on-call.

7 days maximum time off
