Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Indiana Special Education (SPED) Certification
• Experience supporting K-12 students in a special education setting preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and instructional strategies tailored to individual learning needs
• Committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and effective learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary special education contact and advocate within your building
• Assess students’ abilities and learning styles, developing targeted Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver differentiated instruction and support to ensure accessibility and student progress
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to develop and implement appropriate accommodations and modifications
• Monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing regular updates
• Foster positive relationships to create a welcoming environment for all learners
