Accenture Flex employees work in their local metro area onsite at the project, significantly reducing and/or eliminating the demands to travel. Key Responsibilities Provide dynamic service by identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Act as a subject matter expert and collaborate with the team to perform effectively. Make team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams. Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues to ensure system reliability and performance. Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance system functionality and user experience. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery. Document findings and solutions to create a knowledge base for future reference. Participate in continuous learning and development to stay updated with industry trends and technologies. This role requires 3–4 days per week onsite in Jersey City, NJ. Role requires contractor time away (CTA), 5 days per quarter, as mandated by the client. Requirements Basic Qualifications Minimum 6 years of hands‑on Mainframe experience. Minimum 6 years of experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 and VSAM. High School Diploma / GED. Preferred Qualifications Advanced proficiency in Mainframes Modernization on GCP. Bank experience. Experience with Restructured Extended Executor (REXX), DB2 SQL, and Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM) is suggested. Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
