Step into a rewarding opportunity serving middle school students as a School Psychologist for a vital maternity leave position. This full-time, onsite contract role is conveniently located near Elgin, IL, and covers the period from October 1, 2026, through December 2026.

What you’ll bring:
- Current and active School Psychologist license for Illinois (required)
- Proven experience working with middle school students, ideally in an educational setting
- Strong skills in assessment, consultation, crisis intervention, and individualized educational planning
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Your contributions will include:
- Providing comprehensive psychological services for middle school students
- Administering assessments and interpreting results to support student learning and emotional well-being
- Consulting with educators, administrators, and families to develop strategies for student success
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing expertise to support student goals
- Delivering support through counseling, intervention, and skill-building sessions
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal special education requirements
