Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts on a regular basis Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries Process payroll and maintain accurate employee financial records Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA licensure is a plus Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively About Us Jupiter Environmental Laboratories, Inc. is a trusted leader in environmental testing and laboratory services based in Jupiter, FL.
