Comfort Engineered Systems is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our service department. As the HVAC Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our service operations, ensuring efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability. You will manage a team of skilled service technicians, dispatchers, and support staff, playing a crucial role in the continued success and growth of our company.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Management:

• Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise service technicians and dispatch personnel.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Schedule and manage technician workloads to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate company updates, goals, and best practices.
• Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of service calls to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of service tickets and documentation.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Serve as a point of escalation for customer service issues and resolve them effectively and professionally.
• Ensure that the service team provides exceptional customer service and maintains positive customer relationships.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.

Financial Management:

• Manage the service department budget and control expenses.
• Review and approve service invoices and ensure accurate billing.
• Identify opportunities to increase service revenue and profitability.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure that all service operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training for service technicians.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry codes and standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing and leading HVAC service teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
