Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals, preferences, and backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and healthy coping strategies.
\n
• Monitor client progress closely and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
\n
• Remain current with recent psychological research and evidence-based treatments to implement best practices in your therapeutic approach.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions for continuous growth.

• Advocate for the mental health needs of clients, particularly those from marginalized communities, and work towards minimizing stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic primarily supports clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, we provide vital services for groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Your role will be pivotal in delivering therapeutic support that leads to recovery and improved quality of life for these vulnerable populations.

Qualifications\n

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Strong ability to establish warm and trusting relationships with clients, leveraging exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental demeanor when engaging with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
