Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including detailed physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Support the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions through precise interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, prepping operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical practice is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted certification as PA-C
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physician Assistant
