Hiring: Unit Receptionist/Secretary

Location: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567
Shift: Full-Time, 5x8, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks, Possible Extension
Pay Rate: $20 - $26/hr

Required Qualifications:
✔ High School Diploma/GED
✔ 1+ years of clerical work experience
✔ Front desk reception experience
✔ Phone handling, patient greeting, scanning, and basic computer skills
✔ Medical Terminology Course or medical background preferred
✔ Strong computer and communication skills
✔ Organizational, prioritization, and assertiveness skills

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform unit clerical duties with a focus on chart management and unit communications
• Facilitate transportation, specimen, and equipment requests
• Answer Nurse Call intercoms and relay patient requests
• Maintain patient identification responsibilities
• Update manuals and bulletin boards
• Order and maintain clerical and chart supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized nursing station
• Review charts for completeness and assist with record management
• Utilize computer systems for order entry, results reporting, admissions, transfers, and discharges
