As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing foot traffic, visitor questions, and/or staff concerns while supporting a professional environment for daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue environment.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
