Registered Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Therapy

Schedule: Day shift; every other weekend required

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year clinical experience
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program (CoARC or CAAHEP)
• Education: A.S. degree required; B.S. preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NBRC credential (RRT or CRT), Oklahoma license
• Additional certifications (as applicable): NRP, PALS

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients in critical care settings.
• Manage ventilator settings, weaning, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms.
• Assist with intubation and extubation procedures, as well as tracheostomy care.
• Perform airway management and suctioning (endotracheal and nasotracheal).
• Draw and interpret arterial blood gas samples.
• Administer specialty therapies, including inhaled agents and nitric oxide.

Compliance / Notes:

• Valid Oklahoma license and required certifications must be in hand at time of submission.
• Orientation modules are completed onsite; allied modules typically 2–3 hours.
