Your Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive evaluations of patients, recommending diagnostic procedures, and tailoring care plans to individual needs
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues independently or alongside a supervising physician as appropriate
• Educating patients and their families on wellness strategies, preventative measures, and management of chronic conditions
• Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-ups and managing chronic care to improve patient outcomes
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive, comprehensive care
• Maintaining thorough and precise documentation within electronic health records (EHR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or similar specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
