Hybrid Position What You Will Do Answers complex customer inquiries and tracks issue resolution for payroll involving paychecks and direct deposit issues, employee payroll deductions, processing executive payroll, federal/state and local tax related issues, etc. 25% Researches and resolves complex payroll issues 25% Manage State and local tax issues including keeping track of out of state workers and jurisdictional requirements 20% Prepares payroll related weekly/monthly/year-end required reporting and other necessary payroll related information 15% Works with the General Accounting Department to verify that payroll entries and sub-ledgers are accurately reflected on the General Ledger 10% Special projects as assigned by leadership 5% What You Need Education H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Req Bachelor's Degree BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Pref Experience 5 Years Payroll experience Req Experience with PeopleSoft (PS) Payroll desired but Oracle Payroll systems preferred. Strong knowledge of payroll processes and General Ledger impacts, and experience with payroll implementations, integrations, or process improvements preferred.
