CK Salon Solutions LLC (CKSS) is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing professional beauty distribution team.

Since 2006 , CKSS has been serving salon owners and independent hairstylists with professional beauty products and exclusive brands not available through traditional retail outlets. We are looking for someone who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, developing new businesses, and helping salon professionals grow their businesses.

This is not a desk sales position. The ideal candidate enjoys being out in the community, meeting salon owners and stylists, developing new accounts, and growing existing business.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a CKSS Outside Sales Representative, you will manage and grow an assigned territory of professional salons and stylists.

Your primary responsibility will be to increase sales by developing new salon accounts while strengthening relationships with existing customers.

You will represent CKSS's portfolio of professional beauty brands, including hair color, haircare, treatments, styling products and other professional salon products.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

New Business Development

• Prospect and identify new salon and stylist accounts within your territory.
• Make consistent cold calls, prospecting calls and in-person visits.
• Introduce CKSS and our professional brands to prospective customers.
• Develop relationships with salon owners, managers and independent stylists.
• Follow up consistently with prospects until an opportunity is won or closed.
• Identify salons currently purchasing competing brands and develop opportunities to convert business to CKSS.

Existing Customer Development

• Maintain strong relationships with existing salon customers.
• Increase order frequency and average order size.
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional CKSS brands and product categories.
• Monitor customer purchasing patterns and follow up on declining or inactive accounts.
• Present promotions, new products and special programs.
• Help customers understand how products can support their salon business and profitability
• Strong Relationship Building skills with a focus on long-term client partnerships and repeat business.
• Commitment to high-quality Customer Service, including responsiveness, follow-through, and problem-solving.
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with diverse clients and team members.
• Experience in New Business Development, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing sales.
• Previous sales experience, ideally in beauty, salon, or professional products industries, is highly beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet sales goals.Comfort using CRM tools or sales tracking systems and basic proficiency with common office software.

Territory Management

• Maintain an organized weekly route and customer schedule.
• Plan productive sales calls and maximize time in the field.
• Maintain accurate customer and prospect information.
• Follow up on quotes, samples, product requests and customer questions.
• Communicate regularly with CKSS management regarding territory activity and opportunities.
• Work toward established weekly and monthly sales goals.
• Submit required weekly sales and new-business activity reports.
