Patient Engagement Advocate

Providing exceptional service to patients and providers, the fully remote Patient Engagement Advocate will manage inbound and outbound calls, schedule appointments, and document patient requests while ensuring KPI goals are met. Key responsibilities Respond promptly to incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments in the EMR system Document patient requests and pertinent information clearly and concisely in the EMR Coordinate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow and achieve call production goals Required qualifications High School diploma or GED 1+ years of related experience in a call center, customer service, or medical office setting Previous medical office experience preferred, with a focus on optometric or ophthalmic experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
