Title: MIG Welder

Type: Direct hire

Pay: $22-$26, based on experience

Shift: 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm (optional OT)

Backgrounds: Reviewed on a case by case basis

POSITION SUMMARY : Welders and fabricators work hands-on with a variety of raw materials to build custom metal products for a diverse client base. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and pride in craftmanship.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fabricate and weld custom metal components from drawings to concepts
• Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum and stainless steel
• Use hand and power tools to cut, grind, fit and finish material
• Read and interpret blueprints, measurements and work order
• Operate shop equipment safely
• Assemble finished products with accuracy and quality
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency with MIG Welding
• Experience using: handheld grinders, drill presses and cordless drills, basic hand tools, measuring tools, torch and plasma cutter
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and quality

P REFERRED Q UALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
