We are seeking a second shift 3:00pm to 1:30AM - Monday to Thursday

 
Must be an experienced CNC Machinist that can run jobs on CNC Lathes and Mills. Machining parts in aluminum.

We have 10 & Okuma 10 SS and Okuma 12 with OSB 300L Control (Okuma 10SS and 12 running with sub-spindle live tooling). Our machines are 3-Axis, 4-Axis and 5-Axis and Lathes have bar feeders.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for in process inspection (utilizing calipers, micrometers)
• Responsible for making adjustments to offsets, and program as needed to maintain tolerances.
• Must be able to work off of blueprints
• Must be able to accurately use shop math in checking parts.
• Perform basic maintenance to the machines (clean and maintain, no mechanical repairs - weekly and monthly coolant maintenance)
• You will be expected to help around the shop with deburring, tapping, etc as needed to keep parts moving.
• Maintain all paperwork associated with producing the part and maintaining company records.
• Observe safety policies and procedures and operate in a safe manner.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years experience operating CNC Lathes and Mills. Experience with CNC Okuma and HAAS a plus.
• Working knowledge of Algebra, Geometry and can do metric to imperial conversions.
• General knowledge of G-code and M-code.
• Fluent in GD&T and machining blueprint reading.
• Skilled in part inspection and accountable to quality of parts.
• OSHA 10-hour preferred.

Physical Demands:

Must have ability to select, lift, carry and stack products weighing between 30 & 50 pounds. The ability to stand up a total of 8 hours, with breaks, while occasionally bending, stooping, twisting and do repetitive work for 2 to 4 hours at a time.

Stations have anti-fatigue mats and stools available when needed.

We are a Florida Drug Free Workplace. The company requires all employees to complete a pre-employment 10 panel drug screen; employment status will be dependent on ability to pass this screening and partake on a quarterly random screen.
